The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The company position made for intervention encounters a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this website reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and enhance usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
